This blog is dedicated to reviewing the beers that I sample along my travels. My name is Ted, and I am an amateur beer enthusiast. I know what I like and don't like, and my reviews will be completely biased. For example, I don't particularly enjoy the bitterness of a hoppy beer, so I am not likely to rate any IPA's very high. Your mileage may differ.
391/2 Foot Pole from Yukon Brewing. A black currant ale from a favourite micro-brewery. Smooth pour. Red amber colour. Malty nose with citrus. Sweetness on the tongue, hints of pineapple and lemon peel. Sharp, acidic on the palate and bitter aftertaste. Complex brew. I would buy this and drink on a cool day in spring. 3 1/2 bottle caps out of 5.
