This blog is dedicated to reviewing the beers that I sample along my travels. My name is Ted, and I am an amateur beer enthusiast. I know what I like and don't like, and my reviews will be completely biased. For example, I don't particularly enjoy the bitterness of a hoppy beer, so I am not likely to rate any IPA's very high. Your mileage may differ.
Pours cloudy golden with an aggressive head. Taste is citrusy with a light skunky hop. It reminds me of Lethbridge Pilsner I used to be given as a kid. I'm not a fan of the Pilsner category, I find them skunky. I won't be buying this one either.
Evil Twin Brewing brings Low Life Pilsner, from Stratford CT. Up to this point the ABC has been mainly ales of all sorts, so this pilsner lager is a nice change. strong head, very pale and clear. Malty, wheaty and mildly hoppy. Very clean, light and yet full flavoured. I give this a solid 4 out of 5 bottlecaps.
